I joined Upland Primary School as a Class Teacher in 2014. During my time at the school, I have taught in both Key Stages 1 and 2, so have a good understanding of pupils’ needs from an early age to when they leave primary school.
As SENCo, I am responsible for identifying needs within the school, and work alongside class teachers and other professionals to ensure that children are supported in the best possible way. In addition to this, I value the contribution that parents can make. Therefore, I strive to develop good relationships with parents and am always open to any concerns that a parent might have in relation to their child’s academic, social or emotional development.
