Year 4 Horton Kirby Trip
On Wednesday 20th April, Year 4 got very wet on a river study at Horton Kirby education centre.
Our day was divided into two parts, with a study of the depth and the flow of the river Darent in the morning followed by an activity where we created rivers.
It was the perfect day to be outside. We put into practiced what we had learned in our topic lessons. Even the people in charged were impressed by how much students at Upland knew about parts of rivers.
The data we have collected during our study will be used in maths in order to create graphs and interpret them, but also in computing since we will post some of our graphs on our blog.
